Now that spooky season is officially over I know that my mind has done the slow shift into thinking about the upcoming holiday season.
Don’t get me wrong tho – I am NOT ready for holiday decorations or music yet!
But I am thinking about gifts I’d like to give my friends and family while considering upcoming sales to help my dolla stretch a little farther this holiday season.
I love to peruse Amazon for what’s new and window shop so this holiday season I’ll be dropping some gamer gift guides to help y’all out with gift ideas for the gamers in your life!
Gamer Gift Guide
This first guide is for people in your life who you know game but you don’t really know what kind of games they’re into playing.
These are gifts I would love to receive (*hint*hint* to IRL friends reading this hehe) that aren’t exactly tied to a certain franchise.
If you do know what console the gamer in your life loves tho then I got you. I’ll be listing some ideas for that!
My Gamer Gifts Box

Honestly tho, who doesn’t love a themed gift box? This one is prepacked and ready to go which is so convenient! Trust me, I’ve made themed gift boxes and they are a lotta work.
I think the to go cup and socks in this are so cute! I would even use the popsocket that’s included.
And to be completely honest, I could see myself gifting this to my husband. It’s pretty gender neutral in my opinion. (Plus I could conveniently borrow the to go cup hehe)
Just toss in a favorite snack if you want a little customization and this gift is ready to be gifted!
Couch Console Original Cup Holder Tray
Fall has been Switch and couch season. Since I got the Steam Deck it has also turned into Steam Deck and couch season. I do a lot of my gaming on the couch and I’ll let y’all in on a fun fact.
I cannot be trusted with drinks on the couch.
Spills for me are inevitable for me so the fascinating thing to me about this tray is that the drink holder rotates keeping the drink upright… something I struggle with a lot lol.
It also seems like a nifty little tray to keep things organized. We are always losing our projector and speaker remotes so it would be nice to have a dedicated spot instead of in-between or under the couch cushions.
Hm… ngl kinda persuading myself to finally pick one up lol. It’s been on my mind for a while.
Video Game Wall Decor

This is such a fun piece of decor. I think it would fit well in any gamer’s room with it’s simple clean design. Plus it’s not overly neon which I feel a lot of gamer type of decor tends to be (I know bc guilty, I love that stuff lol).
This also packs a punch of nostalgia and is fun for any gamer that loves a bit of gamer history or trivia like my husband. Yes I’m kinda considering this, maybe if we get a bigger apartment with a dedicated gaming room.
Oversized Blanket Hoodie
Idk if we have moved on from this trend but I for sure haven’t! There are so many blanket hoodies on the market too so you can get them in any color or pattern that the gamer in your life will love.
This is perfect for gaming on the couch or at your setup to get into a cozy mood.
TBH I think this is a great gift for anyone who tends to be cold all the time lol. I got this for my bestie and my mom when they first came out – they are both still wearing them years later!
Gamer Blankets
Glow in The Dark Gaming Controller Throw Blanket
In the spirit of being cozy you could always opt to get a blanket. If you don’t know someone’s favorite game I think this glow in the dark gaming controller blanket is a great option!
Ngl I am obsessed with glow in the dark and didn’t know they made glow in the dark blankets lol but there are plenty of similar options if glow in the dark isn’t their thing.
Gaming Cushion
Or if the gamer in your life runs warm, I think this cat paw cushion is so cozy and cute. Perfect for any kawaii gamer setup! I love cushions like this for my chair or for lounging on the couch/floor.
Headphone Stand Game Controller Holder
Definitely an overlooked item in my own setup, any type of organizer would definitely get some love! While looking through Amazon I liked this one as it can do so much from holding your headset and controllers to your iPad and phone.
This little stand does so much helping the gamer in your life stay tidy and organized!
There are so many types of organizers on the market as well. I’d recommend checking it out in a simple search to see what would work best for your gamer.
Computer Repair Tool Kit
Definitely the most practical gift on this idea list, this is the perfect gift for the gamer who is a tinkerer or is interested in getting into modding!
Or honestly who just needs to clean their PC hehe I might be guilty.
I modded a controller earlier this year and was completely saved by my husband who has a very similar kit. Honestly, we use his kit all the time on random things around the house.
A nice tool kit goes a long way! And is often overlook by people like me keke.
Neon Lights
I’m not sure why neon lights are associated with gaming but I’m not complaining!
I’m a huge neon light lover and I think this is a great option if you’re unsure if someone has wall space to hang up something like this GG neon sign. As long as they have desk or shelf space this light would be a great nostalgic addition.

If you couldn’t tell already I am a novelty socks fan. This is the perfect set to gift or put in as a stocking stuffer. I’m sure with all the games that will be given/purchased during the holidays these socks will get a lot of wear the day they are opened.
I have been a WHOOSH! fan for years and this is seriously the perfect stocking stuffer for any gamer or person who uses tech (which is pretty much anyone with a mobile phone so just about everyone and anyone lol).

The gamer in your life have everything?
I get it, it makes it really difficult to shop for them.
You have to either know everything they own so you can get something real niche (like I try to for my husband which phew, I got you it can be a struggle) or you gotta think broader!
For the gamer that has it all I recommend the old tried and true, gift card.
I know, I know – Some people hate giving gift cards but tbh I would LOVE a gift card for the eShop or GameStop! I would feel less guilty spending my own money on games for one keke.
And for sure, it would not be misplaced like some other gift cards that I have received in the past have mysteriously disappeared. (Also, we have all done that right? Months later you find a gift card with a mystery amount of monies on it? Right??)
Ngl I already know what wish listed games would be bought first kekeke.
If you don’t know what console the gamer in your life games on, grab a gift card from GameStop or Amazon! These are my two go to places for games. You could also consider gift cards to Walmart, Target, and BestBuy.
If you know what console they game on then an eShop gift card is a fabulous idea. You could consider gift cards for Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox! This would definitely be a perfect pair with their favorite snack or festive seasonal candy.
