We can’t talk Pokémon without first talking about the games. Parts of this guide will focus on one game so if you know it’s your trainer’s favorite in the franchise, keep reading!

While looking I also found the Nintendo Pokémon Go Plus, a wearable accessory for Pokémon Go! If you have a trainer in your life who loves this mobile game, this would be a great gift.
Retro
Pokémon goes all the way back to the GameBoy. If you have a gamer in your life who grew up with the franchise, I can’t recommend enough picking up a custom GameBoy Color with their favorite Pokémon.
My husband picked up these modded GameBoy Colors for us from 8bitaesthetics. The screens are so crisp! This would definitely make a great gift for any pokefan!
A great accessory for this would be a display stand so they can proudly look at it as part of their collection.
If you’re looking to hit that nostalgia, you could also pick up older games for GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advanced, or 3DS series.
I’d recommend checking out prices online and comparing, especially if you plan on going to a retro gaming store. For some reason I thought that a retro gaming store would be cheaper than eBay but that’s not always the case depending on the game.
So make sure you know the market value!

Ok let’s be real. There are A TON of options when it comes to Pokémon themed gifts and merchandise.

Not only is this thing big enough for me to lounge on, it’s one of my dog’s favorite nap spots lol. I got this back in March and it is still holding up after everyday use!
